General Employment trades on the NYSE Alternext US stock exchange under the ticker symbol JOB. The
Company provides national staffing services and specializes in the placement of
information technology, accounting and engineering professionals.
Our history dates back to 1893 when F. L. Winslow opened the Company's first Engineering
Agency. The Company, as we know it today, was incorporated in September 1962. In May 1967,
the Company went public and its shares began trading over the counter. The Company moved
to the American Stock Exchange (now known as the NYSE Alternext US stock exchange) in September 1968 where it continues to trade today.
